From translator's notes: S(sadist)is someone who enjoys or gets a kick out of giving someone a hard time. It's quite light, and does not carry the brutal connotations that the original English meaning does. An example is someone who when playing table tennis likes to toy around with his opponent. Instead of just killing off the point with a smash, he hits the ball so that it is out of his opponent's reach but purposely makes it slow enough so that the opponent can just about make it to the ball.
