No Guan Yin is Guan Yin, not Avalokistevara. Guan Yin listens, Avalo looks. Very different, u r not going to tell me that an ear is an eye, dont u?

Master chanter Lama Tashi sounds like a bullfrog. If you can hear a version of this chanted by a a woman from India skilled in Sanskit, there is no comparison. Just because its Tibetan doesn't make it good, perfect, the last word in Dharma. Remember, the Dharma came from India, which had a much more advanced and aesthetically perfected culture and in many ways lost a lot in the Tibetan 'translation'.
