Its not up to the city to fix. This issue lies solely on the decisions of the state Department of Transportation...seriously.They have done the road surveys, they know the amount of traffic that flows through everyday. Call the pensacola DOT office, they will give you the traffic counts, they just will not fix the problem.

A year after the original posting and 85 is still no better. When I first moved here back in '91 you could get from Old Bethel Rd. to the Shoal river bridge in about 7 min. Now it takes damn near 20 min (on a good day).

It's certainly heavier traffic than back in 2004 when I was there. Still no road kerbing I see. Although still no where near as busy as the city of over 2 million where I live. Considering 85 & 90 are the 2 main ways through the small town I think the traffic is fairly normal. I wish the traffic here was that light.
