Fix you was actually written about a toaster... And the reason why it's 'yellow' is because he needed a two syllable word to fit into the rest of the song and saw the yellow pages (phone book) on the floor. XD Oh how I love coldplay. :)

Well Chris is a Christian, it wouldn't be surprising if it were true. But it's what it means to the person who listens to it that matters most. This song speaks to me either way. :)
