I live on the Tozai line in Tokyo. Catch it going from Nishi Funabashi to Tokyo between 7:30am and 8:30am ona weekday and after that tellme that Tokyo Metro doesnt have a policy of hiring people to do that now.In fact, they have hired security companies to stand on the platforms during morning peak hour to do the job.

Relax, it's not unusual for trains to be loaded in Tokyo but getting packed like this is not normal. How do I know? I've ridden trains in Tokyo myself. |
