people shouldnt get so uptight when criticised it only reveals their insecurities- RBSD is my field and I can say there is a lot of bollocks in it- this video isnt anywhere near as cruel as it could be. My problem with it is the hypocrisy- you've got MMA nerds taking the piss out of RBSD nerds- if you spend more time on your pc than in training YOURE STILL A FUCKING NERD!attending an MMA class or even competing does not automatically validate your opinion, You can train it and still be SHIT.

Amen brother, I have a background as a bouncer,B.E.A Agent,corrections/SWAT,& as a demostic/overseas operator & in neither of these arenas did I ever want to volunteer to go to the ground & try to "submit" the enemy.I teach reality based self preservation tactics that were tried & presure tested in actual worse case scenarios I've been in & even when we work on ground fighting tactics our mission priority is to get back up on our feet, not pretend we're are UFC combatants in a sports match.

Look if really based self defense was praticed in a realistic manner nobody would have a problem with it.However many RBSD schools are nothing more than traditional M.A schools set in a paramilitary environment.That is why so many people have turned to the combat sports, because they know the skills they learn there will one day save their lives.

Good point the reason they put this stuff up is what they do in a ring with rules does not work in reality look at the jail house brawl you would be stupid to go to the ground with someone in that enviroment so people are looking for something that works in the world we live in not a MMA gym.

I recently saw a video of Phrost in a "pro" fight. He got spanked by a mediocre fighter. I think Neal needs to shut the f**k up and stick to the keyboard wars!

Well, Phrost has a habit of taking the most extreme and absurd examples available in a given art and using them to point out how his target art sucks, which is an intellectually bankrupt and cheap way to promote one's POV. I find it ironic that while fulminating against BS in the martial arts, he spews plenty of his own.

It's nto a video of RBSD that suck, it's the "sucks month of Bullshido's RBSD". not the "RBSD sucks month". they are called Bullshido's RBSD. There are however many SD thigns otu there that aren't very good, and this video shows what the realities are in real fights/altercations, with some humour in there too.

How come it barely showed WHY RBSD sucks? Let's see some bad training techniques etc rather than a family of black women (what was the point in that?) and a number of fights with still photos? If you're going to slag something off, do it properly!
