I think both versions of the song are great, but I like this one better, my grandfather and uncle used to play this a lot, and it grew on me, unfortunately they can't play the saxophone too.

i new that Bob Seger did the original but i was always a metallica fan and this version kicks way more ass than i thought it would i still like metallicas better but this is awesome

"if I would've said the opposite in Metallica's video comments, people would probably have agreed with me"a bad way to put it, what I meant was that if I would have said that Bob Seger was a better singer in the commentary on Metallica's version, people would disagree and be bashing Bob Seger in favor of Hetfield. Don't make a big deal about what other people think, it's just opinions.

calm down :)maybe I forgot to add that's MY opinion. everyone is entitled to theirs. if I would've said the opposite in Metallica's video comments, people would probably have agreed with me. It's all taste, not laws of nature.Bob Seger has a great voice, but I like the sound and feeling of Hetfield's voice better. I'm no fan of either, but that's my honest opinion, no need to get fussy about it.

Wow dude, I can only think that you made that statement to stir things up. Either that, or you are delusional. There IS one thing Hetfield does better than Seger, and that's expose himself as a little whiny bitch in front of two grinning filmmakers.

This song has so many memories for me... from being in the back seat of a chevelle with a guy as a teen, to driving that chevelle around town on a saturday night in summer, windows down, blasting that song on the stereo. Has been a favorite for 25 years.. and I still turn it up when it comes on the radio!
