I saw DF in concert and they were pretty good they were still new and nobody knew their songs so they were pretty embarrased. It was a decent show though

umm... i prefer sonata, stratovarius had a Looooooooonggg songs... its like Metallica time songs. So much... not boring... but @ @... i dunno i dont like thats long songs

Without Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica wouldn't be Sonata Arctica, they would be Tricky Beans, and they wouldn't play Power Metal, they'd play Hard Rock, and they'd probably be disbanded by this point. Stratovarius may not have created Power Metal, but they brought keyboards and solo duels into the fray. Not to mention Jens Johannson, Stratovarius' keyboardist is responsible for the Keyboard solos on Silver Tongue, Champagne Bath, The Cage, and Victoria's Secret.

NOW I've heard them! They sound pretty good! haven't listen to them enough to say they are among my top 10 fvorite bands, but it's gonna be hard for them to beat Sonata Arctica and Nightwish on my list :)
