yeh but still it hasnt worked. the americans bribed the insurgents for not killing american troops and work with them through cash. What if they stop paying them? They start killing again.

Gen Petraeus gets my highest respect, just for sitting in the same room and having to answer to these lowlifes who are unfortunately our politicians. Besides, didn't Obama just ramble and lambaste Bush for the whole time and then ask the same question that someone else asked? Wow....that's real leadership there.

Sen. Obama should be ashamed of himself for being so wrong about the surge. He has still not admitted that the surge was the right thing to do and it has worked very well. General Petraeus is a modern day American hero who deserves our unwavering gratitude. By making this into a political issue, Mr. Obama is showing his shallowness and indirect disrespect of this great man. He is a lightweight and an embarrassment to everyone in uniform!

Classic Obama say everything that is wrong. But he never has any answers. All you Obama supporters go to his website and click on issues he is very good at telling you what is wrong but he dances around on how to fix the problem. On his own site he either does not have a TRUE anwer or the one he has is unrealistic. By the way I think McCain is a tool

Obama 08. Bad war, bad economy, terrible relationships with our allies and our foes, record borrowing with China and deficit budgets, fire federal lawyers who dont fire your political foes (are we communists?_, etc, etc, etc The GOP has FAILED THIS COUNTRY time and time again for 8 years.
