flying cars wont ever go public untill gov. or something puts up protective stuff around buildings i mean like look at 9/11 that was one airplane(granted a very big ariplane compared to these cars) but imagine like a huge cult or something like ramming into buildings all over the place the gov. just wouldnt let it happen

its just like the alternative cars, we've had the technology for ages, but the fucking government isnt letting us make our views a reality.

Wrong!!Moller is inside the craft piloting it.The "wire" is a suspension cable where they take up the slack as it becomes airborne in case there is a catostrophic failure to keep it from crashing to the ground.Too much money invested.

Me thinks tolishel doesn't understand. There was a ride at Disney World (I don't know if they still have it.)that operated on electro~magnetic supension and propulsion.Kinda cool!!

Not to mention having 8 fans screaming and blowing huge amount of downwash onto anyone and anything below. You can't even glide like a plane if one engine fails, and during landing the pilot (or should I say driver) is completely blind at what he/she is going to land on. I also wonders how loud is it inside the cockpit (or should I say cabin).

or better, a Lamborghini

Moller its been working on this and other models for decades. He once said there will be thousands of this after year 2000. For some reason its still on the works. But he deserves respect for not letting go his vision of the future outside the box.

Could you imagine a sky full of these loud sumbicthes flying over your house?Back to the drawing board.

Hey jackass don't start with me...I've been in the aerospace industry for 7 years and as far as I'm concerned you're the fucking idiot. In my lab we are experimenting with electromagnetic levitation, and it is indeed possible when using very high voltage, the only limitation right now is the huge equipment required to just levitate a frog. Eitherway it appears to me that you are unable to distinguish the difference between VTOL and helicopters. Go learn a little before bitching around here!

You egnored what I said about this moller skyshit. wake up! Do you even know the porpuse of this VTOL? (Veritcal Take Off and Landing). Not to use it as a helicopter, use more like an airplane, but to be able to take off and land veticaly , so you would't need a runway. anti-gravity propulsion... wake up! you watch too much star wars or something. |
