I heard a song by him today about being ugly one line was like "you said you usually go for handsome men but this time you'll make an exeption" or something along those lines sorry for not having more details. I just found out about leonard cohen can someone recommend a good album to start with.

Gorgeous. I stayed at the Chelsea with my then girlfriend during my first weekend in New York four years ago. This song so beautifully captures the pain of unresolved loss in an often cruel city. (Yes, I'm still heart broken. No, I don't think of her that often.) Thanks for posting.
