Great anecdote. I did read or hear somewhere that John and Ron did get on quite well when they met, and John even autographed some records for him, which he appreciated. Its sad for me thinking how pleased John must have been for Reagan (personally not politically) when he was elected President just the month before in 1980, and how much history John missed, is missed, and will always be missed.

I would think so...that was with Dick Cavett and I have seen it from time to time here on YT....I think Lennon appeared more then once on the Dick Cavett show but I'm sure you'll find it if you keep looking..

I heard he was nicer when he respected who was interviewing him and felt that the person interviewing him respected him and wasnt trying to "get him to say something"
