Hmm I think you might have something there, though with those old ATVs they had fat, bouncing tires that didn't do so well with the outrageous ways people were riding them.I think that two wheels in the back would be a lot more comfortable and could be fairly safe if the whole design was tailored to reasonable riding conditions, versus hitting whoop-tee-doos at crazy speeds ... .But for sure, your point about the braking is on the money.

Because the front is where all the braking and steering happen. Two wheels in the back are a death trap like the ATCs of the 80's.
