He was a nerd in highschool and he's still a nerd now. And considering the 90's cartoon is the perfect example of how not to do a Spidey cartoon and the 80's were more about Spidey and his superfreinds I don't understand the point. Ask any of the creators: Peter's a nerd. I'll agree that Maguire needs to go because he seems to have thrown in the acting towel after the first two films. I'd really like to see Neil Patrik Harris try out for a live action role.

well not in the 90 s spidey animated series,he s a scientist,he likes learning about genetics for example,thats why he spend a lot of time in the books and on college,and he is misunderstud,and bullied by the average footballplayer ,like flash for example...but that doesnt mean he is a nerd...even in the 80 s animated spidey series,and in spiderfriends,spidey was way less a nerd then how tobey was 'acting' in the movie...
