I've always liked both industrial and metal. I don't see any necessary conflict, to be honest. There has been a lot of borrowing and blending between them, and with goth as well, over the years. Each is great music in its way!

I myself am a true fuckin metalhead, however also love seeing bands like combichrist play because there is such an energy in the live shows just as there is in metal shows. i often wonder what combichrist would sound like with guitars!

Well Joni, despite ur elaborate comment, I disagree. True, EBM fans should listen to more Metal, BUT Metal fans should listen to EBM like CC, Tactical Sekt, Run Level Zero & Suicide Commando, to name just a few.CC, above all, rocks and, despite my age and Metal-past, I realy like 'em.

Replying to myself, one could think I'm eminem... My earlier reply came out wrong, I love EBM and its fans. ...It's like when you see them and say hello and they say hello back and after a while they get say something strange and you just want to ask "Why do you always make things weird?"EBM fans should listen to more metal and metal fans should listen to less EBM. It would only confuse them.

Most EBM fans tend to be what Within Temptation-fans are in metal - pussies! I think CC are the best, although I got bored at there concert last concert in Oslo at Maiden. It was too repetitios! Even for EBM!But it was Probably because of all the beer. There's nothing like curing a depression with a depressant.Luckily a gay guy saw me with all the makeup and started hitting on me. That cheered me up for a minute. In the same way all the African prostitues on the main steet did earlier.
