yup, your bitchy.all i asked for was advice because you seemed to know a lot. I'm sorry if i "annoyed" you.

What? do you think I'm running a free photography course here? Do your own research. You already have a canon and you're not going to buy another camera based on my recommendation, so find someone else to annoy.

telling me to go to google doesn't help me if i don't know WHY the camera is better.

"I already have the XSI, and I love it." That's typical of an amateur Canon owner and quite valid. Enjoy your cameraAs for being "bitchy", I tried to offer a way for you to make a subjective decision about the two cameras without being biased as the two have pros and cons for different users. If you take this as 'one must be better than the other' then I suggest that the Canon is the perfect camera for you.Other users may choose to research actual images rather than rely on bigger MP numbers

why are you being so...whats the word...bitchy? All i asked is why is it better and I have yet to get a straight answer. Very suspicious.I already have the XSI, and I love it. I just don't see how 6.0mp beats 12.2mp

OK then, Canon must be better. There, that should clear things up.Go to Flickr and search through the Nikon and Canon groups. There are even groups for Nikon D40 and Canon 450D for you to compare images. Look at the EXIF data for each image and make the decision for yourself. If you predominantly like the images shot with the Canon 450D, then buy one. If you find the Nikon D40's images are more to your taste, then buy one of those. You will see the difference for yourself.

verygoogle won't give me anything. in fact, all i got from google was that canon was better. now, you tell me im wrong. why?
ClownFight (October 9, 2008 at 10:40 pm)
Is google broken?

mikongo said - "I smell the stink of white european racism. Come over here white boy, come and walk down my street, I'll show you what to do with your dinky little camera."What a strange, disturbed comment.

how? why don't the numbers mean anything?
