Yes he picked up an injury then he got badly injured in a horsebox incident and was never the same horse again.

loved this horse and what a pity we didnt see a lot more of him as he jumped like a stag for fun.

Fantastic bold fast jumping by Morceli and what a sight he was on several occations round Haydock taking off outside the wings of a fence many a time. So sad he wasn't the same horse round Cheltenham.

I often suspect the worst of National Hunt horses' owners' politics. In the case of Monday Club I think I can be assured of it.

If only Dancing paddy could have jumped better. He always came there tanking. I remember him always making howlers at crucial times.
