How To Get The Video OTA Update for Sidekick LX

This is how I got my sidekick to get the update! Easy & QuickPure coincidence? hmmmm not! I read on another forum a few years ago how to force the OTA's and everyone in the post tried it and it worked....sooooo.. fast forward to a few weeks ago when I came onto this site (day and night) searching for info on the ota and to see if ppl were getting them....they werent...sooo today i wake up and some chick has an away message up that says....I HAVE THE OTA I HAVE VIDEO! So I imed her like what! U have the OTA mayne that is crazy soooo i sat around for a few hours even drank some martini's and I realized that I knew the trick. BOOM! Oh and of course everyone believes everything they read so when someone says "THERE IS NO WAY TO FORCE IT" they believe it. There are ways so that your device gets it quicker they (danger) wouldn't want everyone receiving it all at once so there isnt an overload so when ur device is finally at rest AKA minimal data received or sent u will get it...unexpectedly............ Step 1. Restart your deviceStep 2. Do not sign into any apps or send any data......press menu+ o for good luck lolStep 3. Watch your G7 for 3 minutes if the white swoosh isnt pulsating fast through the 7 then u need to restart (you can even go to network settings press menu + m if ur bytes recieved start counting fast ur good)Step 4. Restart your sidekick as many times until your g7 continues to pulsate with white streak FAST & NONSTOP...10 minutes later it should still be moving even when ur not logged into messenger or texting or emailing....once u realize its doing the trick...lay ur sidekick down and in about 30 minutes ur OTA will be here...This really works I swear on everything it has worked every OTA! And I dont think it was just a coincidence because its happened atleast 5 times. Good Luck.....!::::NOTE::: not everyone will get it after 2 restarts..thats a power off and on maybe like 7 times lol but then when ur g7 goes crazy its because ur sidekick is receiving the OTA and when u get the install prompt its after the data has been received..understand! Why the negative posts.."if at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again"
