actually antrax is one of the four who create thrash along with metallica megadeth and slayer,but its when anthrax joined with public enemy that started nu metal

they were not one of the four who created thrash..but one of the four most successful bands who played thrash. because there are a lot more bands who were great but stayed underground because no one knew them.

what the fuck? Anthrax didn't create nu metal... they were one of the four bands that formed thrash.thrash is a combination of speed metal and hardcore punk.nu metal is based on alternative rock and hard rock.
