Don't forget to mention sociological changes in the face of humanity that this genera esp the Beatles created. I agree today's music is filled with voids the artist can't fill due to many different environmental factors including huge labels controlling what is 'in' and 'what to listen to'. With the abilities of sharing media freely over the internet I hope things will shift back into the artists hands. I wish more people could see the reality in our world.
