OMG! THE MOST MEMORABLE halftime show I've EVER seen during my time at UH!!! LOVED IT!!! the crowd's reaction to ridin' dirty "cutting off" the band and then the surprise dance number was PRICELESS!!!

Those are two really good bands. Spirit of Houston is a great band. They don't get enough love from the Cougar faithful.

i was there on the other side. when they came out doing military marching me and my buddy, we were in band, didnt know what to think cuz they never do that and then ridin' dirty came on. it was badass

at a DCI show where the crowd is obviously going to be less than a college football game you can't snares to be perfect... Also, consider that the snares had probably only practiced with eachother for a limited time... It takes time to build the "chemistry" between the two different style bands, they however did not have time and put on a very entertaining performance... It's marching... it's supposed to be fun... Not clean to the point of concert music... duh

it was a joint drumline. grambling and UH was playing together, not to mention they were playing a grambling cadence that UH had never even played before, of course it's gonna be dirty. and no, college marching band isnt about playing clean, it's about entertaining the crowd. cleaning second.

Man I totally agree with you. I just hate when other people do not respect other craft and they think that what they do is superior to all else. This shadowmorman guy is a clown and im glad to see that there is a real intellectual person that joined the conversasion
