This is great! It inspired Star Trek but don't let that put you off! It's very intelligent for a 50s sci-fi film, in fact it's one of the cleverest sci-fi films I've seen (and I've seen lots). I rank this along Blade Runner, and 2001 as one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.

I hate rocky horror, but this looks really great. Good score, good effects, and what's this; EASTMAN COLOR? What a masterpiece.

Hmmm.... I only heard of this through the Rocky Horror theme song.. They said "Anne Francis Stars in Forbidden Planet", so I thought I'd see what it's all about...It seems good! :))
