I'm on Vista but I'll try it.

I ran across exactly the same problem. The solution that worked for me was to go to Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Advanced Speaker Settings, go to the performance tab and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider all the way to the left (i.e. disable it). That's assuming you're using an XP system. Worked like a charm for me on all my computers, hope it works for you!

I had this once but I can't remember how I fixed it. My first suggestion is of course to make sure nothing else is running, then try to mess with the game's audio settings. If that doesn't work, try installing the other stuff on the disc such as the versions of QuickTime and DirectX that come with the game. If that doesn't work the only other thing I could think of is updating the driver for your sound card.

OMGMY game is messed up. I've bought several copies over the years, and on different computers; and whenever I play ti the audio seems to echo.Do you know how to get rid of that, I've tried playing with the audio options and that doesn't solve it.

I don't know of anywhere to download them. I ripped these directly from the game discs. They're just in standard .mov format so anything that can read and convert mov files works.

Is there anywhere to download these cutscenes? I would record mine with FRAPS but the audio is terrible.
