Gaming is important because it spikes creativity in minds young and old. It gets a lot of people interested in technology that would have otherwise done something a little less intellectual with their lives. To me you seem like the kind of person who does nothing but rally attention to a specific area. You probably do very little to change any of your listed problems in a significant way. Let those who are capable deal with the big problems. You can't solve them, so why does your opinion matter.
