Hmmm... a couple of bombs dropped on civilians. Try over a million civilian deaths. But of course, one american life is worth at least ten thousand 'foreign' lives. We seethis in the 9/11 crap. 2000 dead and it is the worst tragedy in history. It pales into insignificance compared to the carpet bombing of North Vietnam and Cambodia.

The Korean war was basicly the same thing as Vietnam. Why dont you hippie vegans cry about that war all the time?

it could carry nuke but in nam only carried conventional warloads. Like the uncle Sam advice, the US points out to everyone but itself, they are always the good guys trying to take out the ants with a hammer. Like Metallica said "before you judge me take a look at you"
kingofviagra (July 23, 2008 at 8:08 pm)
is that the plane that had the nuke?

Read Bob Greene's "Homecoming". The war was televised. The whole world was horrified. From Nov 68 til the end, US soldiers returning from Vietnam were greeted with "Welcome home, you gangs of drug addicts, assassins, rapists, baby killers"... People spat on their face or on their uniform, they were a national army of assassins, not soldiers. When they join the US Army they knew all their acts of felony would be covered up by the chain of command, with the backing of their military Justice Dept.
