The clip is from the Los Angeles TV show "Stars of Jazz" and the host is Bobby Troup. Max's band must've been playing Jazz City when this was taped.

I love the way the trumpet meshes with the sax! They play at a dissonant interval (I'm not sure what).

Logged in to Booker Forte. He doesn't have the least interest this music or Jazz. He claims his most important interest is money. Couldn't get farther from the aesthetic of the great Booker Little. Sad.
