for some reason i am having some trouble doing drop knee position, can anybody give me some tips? great vid by the way got my first longboard today and this is helpful.

Use common sense - obviously you don't want to be having your knee scrape the ground, even if you're wearing pads - it'll just slow you down and mess you up.

you dont neceserally need a hill but if u want to have fun on flat get a street trick skateboard, One of the main atractions in longboarding is cruising down hills and along streets but i gues if you're creative enough you can shred on flat. Depends how you roll.
