Man Say anything has some of the coolest lyrics ive ever heard and is one of the only bands that youll find that has extremely deep lyrics ans awesomely long songs that kick total ass. I just love the way he words stuff and the talented musicians in the band

i don't think he does...in interviews he just sounds like that or maybe he was sick in all the interviews i have seen..

i know it isnt long, but some of Say Anything songs are 4mins. And look, SAY ANYTHING ROCKS!!! Im not saying otherwise, but Say Anything songs are little long, not LONG, but a tiny long. And i dont know what point he is trying to prove. But hes trying to say something hidden in his lyrics, but i dotn know what. The song is about getting stuck in doing the same things in a pattern and it being inevitable to avoid that. Even people that think they are not doing that actually are. And how by doing something simple (like breaking up a fight between cats...of course that is a metaphor) could change it, but of course he chooses not to because no matter how much he claims to hate it he isn't actually motivated to do something productive/meaningful so he says the same. And that culture of his generation.

i don't think they're playing long songs to prove a point. to me that doesn't even make sense.a lot of other bands play over 3 minutes. they're not trying to prove anything..what point do you think he's trying to make?
