lol, you said "I'm not a piano man." All I could think of was Timbaland "I'm a real producer and you just a piano man"

yo, the SPDIF out = MAIN OUTS, you can't assign anything particular to just the SPDIF out in particular. however, i use the spdif out while tracking on my lead sample and often my snare samples

Hi Nym, I really enjoy your videos. I had a random question that I thought you might know about. The mpc 1000 spidif out, can you assign different programs out of it. As I recall it plays everything at the same time. Thanks

you're dead right. i thought i was going crazy! the paper, i printed off online, appears to be a major scale, not all the notes. i'm surprised that i missed the sharp/flats were missing, i guess i was just excited to be making the vid. i'm glad yall set it straight though, i definitely appreciate it.

hi nym, your right in that the tuning increments of the mpc1000 are +1 = 1 semitone or one half step. i think dazzelya is referring to the notation diagram where you have missed out the sharps and flats.Between F and G is not just "+1mpc" because F# is betweeen F and G meaning that it is actually +2 from F to G(2 half steps).Similarly between C and E is actually 4 semitones because C# and D# are in there too. Good video though. this is mikolo from mpcforums by the way! thanks, Mike. |
