I have a teen-oriented, hockey themed book coming out in October which has over 25 Bruce song and characters from Bruce songs, references (the hockey team is named the Magic Rats, the lead character plays hockey "undeneath Abrams Bridge" etc)!! I heard Melissa Ethridge sing this unplugged at the Concert for NY. OMG was that awesome. I think of NYC everytime I hear this song.
