Sorry dingus, geeks use Pidgin, Trillian, or Jabber to chat because they work with ALL clients. If an open platform is hosted, you will quickly see that proprietary cellphones are going to look dumb and featureless by comparison.Average Joes will see that too.

Hey guys, although everyone in the software world understands why an open platform for cellphones is a great idea, most people are not IN the software world, capiche?If you are going to post a video about cellphones, you need to speak potential buyesr of the cellphones. THE PUBLIC!!I understand that there won't be a single prototype, but start talking about the kinds of cool functions that don't exist today, that could be built tomorrow.
