Exactly, Steve Gorman played that song exactly like the record. The drummer and the bass player are the rhythm section, everyone else follows them. Like you said, Page was merely enjoying the jam.

I would gather....and this is pure speculation on my part...that if Jimmy thought Steve Gorman or the Crowes sucked he (a) wouldn't have spent 1999 and 2000 with them and (b) wouldn't have placed his stamp of approval on the "Live at the Greek" release. I'm no expert, but it seems like common sense to me. KEITHMOON90... send in a video of yourself playing drums to this version or Zep's and we'll all type (text) our responses or reviews as legibly as you have. *smile*

People like you who think they can read minds make me laugh. I guess you don't realize that the whole song was rehearsed and if Page thought the band or the drummer sucked then he wouldn't be out there with them. When he turns toward the drummer it's probably because he was enjoying the jam not because he was as you say "expectin him to do summit better"

Hey Keith Moon wanna be. If you knew anything about anything you would know that the drummer takes the lead in the band and guides everyone else. Jimmy was looking to him for the break down as were the others only you could not see them unless you were really looking for it. Also, the Black Crowes are awesome. I think you just don't know as much as you think you know. I suggest you can start by learning how to properly form coherent sentences in English and then start to learn more about music.
