I am not making assumption, I am pointing out that one interpretation of a biblical quote is not necassarily the same for someone else, be it an individuals view, a churches view or some other view. To avoid a neverending debate - i'll simply agree to disagree and move on.

First off, no one here is preaching any other gospel, in fact the gospels are very much honoured. You have come across something your particular church has not taught you and made the arrogant assumption that it must be wrong. If a seventh day adventist does something an anglican doesn't, does that make it wrong? If a baptist does something a spiritualist doesn't does that make it wrong? No. Within such a schismatic religion as Christianity only the foolish assume their position over others.
