Forgiving is bullshit. It's essentially saying "it's okay that you betrayed my trust, didn't honor the promise you made, that our relationship wasn't preeminent in your mind and you didn't value it enough to not stray." Like hell it's okay. You get one chance and you made your choice as to what was more important. Get out and stay gone forever.

When someone offends you, betrays you, this song is the emotion we certainly feel; for days,months or even years. It is step one until you realize "unforgiveness" is a prison of your own making. I freely admit I needed the forgiving love of Jesus Christ to forgive, and lay to rest(surrender) what my ex did. Jesus heals broken hearts, I know because he healed mine. This song is now an old friend, reminding me of my journey to forgiving and peace.
