None of those logos you mentioned are bad looking. The eee logo looks stupid. It looks like some generic brand.

umm, apple has the big ol gay apple, it used to be rainbow striped...hp has a big ol hp logo.Dell has the big ol circle and dell logo.And the list goes on and on and on and on.Name one laptop that does not advertise or put something silly on the case. Nope... Hmmm.. So its not so much asus sh!tting on customers as all manufactures sh!tting on customers.

200 pin DDR2 notebook memory - same as many other laptops. Only one slot, so you replace the existing 1GB with a 2GB stick.
