Very VERY - slowly after making sure it's not going off a cliff or something. I don't think the Rovers are autonomous, rather, they are remote controlled from earth.

well they might not surveybecause the images got back to earth quicker than movements were sent back. It took something like 10mintues for the radio signal got to mars to control rover. So the only safe way of doing is to move the machine very VERY slowly

If they got the two Rovers to meet up and mate they could probably start populating Mars with a family of little Mars Rovers with optomistic names like - Lucky, Hope, Faith, Rosy etc. I can see them following thier parents like little ducks..... |
