You don't need to use the nunchuck at all.The nunchuck is used with the Wii Zapper configuration, where it's used as the arcade's Action button aswell as changing your rate of fire on the gun.Not needed to play the game though.

Yep, the perfect shot works exactly the same way as the Wii Zapper in that it's just a wii remote cradle so you can use it with this.
