Some comments on this video see this as letting the dog build a negative behavior. From my own experience with 2 inside cats and a husky who is 3 years old now, only just calming down. As far as this situation goes, the cat knows what it's doing, and the husky will grow out of it.

Overall this video is great, the cat is acting like a cat, the siberian husky is beautiful and acting like one, and people should just enjoy the old "cat vs dog" thing without getting into a personal mood! Also great advice zombiebackrub, i had no idea they had those things, im actually now reconcidering getting a cat^^, thanx.

Oh ty^^yea i do agree, often people try to say the right thing but they come across a bit rude, so people actually take it as an offense, rather then to take it as a tip or advice.I think those people get offended them selves so they get a bit upset and then those angry feelings end up turning into rude words. But I dont think they mean any bad by itits just their opinion in a bit of a "rude" way, but the conclusions are the same."dont take away something that was made to be there"

and if you don't want to cut the nails down too much just get those caps that cover them up. they're called softpaws i think.also i agree that declawing is a pretty terrible thing to do to a cat, but a lot of the other people(not you) advocating avoiding declawing are taking a sort of assholish tone. no one's going to listen to good advice if you come off as a jerk, try and advocate your position in a polite and rational way like lalabunnybr here has done!!

I agree with you, but cutting the nails as much as possible is a good idea so noone gets hurt(specially if you have kids around the house), you said "would you de-tooth a dog" its not the same thing, dogs need their teeth to chew on food, cats need their claws as you quoted, as a way of survival, yes indeed, but they're house cats- safe inviroment, their big claws have no purpose but to hurt someone, So i half agree with you! Declawing is cruel, but cutting it as much as possible is a must!
