I think this episode was a misinterpretation of men in women. Its our society thats given us these labels...men are strong and aggressive, women are meak and tender. These terms arent anything more than a paradigm that we're currently living in. You can go back thousands of years and find society dominated by women that were as much or more violent then our male dominated society today. We're not that much different, its our life experienceS and societal pressures that dictate how we should be.

Anyway, the twist ending was excellent.

It's just an episode of a scifi series. It's not real life. In real life men and women are together and work together, there are many differences but in God's eyes we are the same and we must stay together. Women deserve all the rights men do, but neither need to conquer the other. That world to me seemed depressing, even to my girlfriend who saw it.

Or maybe they chose a simpler life as opposed to resurrecting the technology that made it possible to destroy nearly all life on Earth. And I don't get where you see that women can't do engineering, handle a weapon, or run a society - the women in this video are doing all three.

Unlikely. There aren't too many men left to tell women to cook and make babies and yet our society still has been more geared towards traditional roles. Maybe you should accept the fact that women and men are different creatures.

As a matter of fact, I think that women would be more apt to study traditionally male-dominated fields if there were no men around to tell them to cook and make babies. |
