I do get what your saying Sesquipedaliantique, but it really depends if you know the bigger picture here regarding the Russians. And it is taken seriously here especially when three of my wife's family were murdered by the Russians at the Katyn massacre, and her grandfathers business was destroyed and the land was divided amongst the local communist party members. So in this light there is a certain sensitivity.
