jjmcrowell. What kind of 1911 do you own? I own a Kimber 1911 Eclipse II and I figured out the hard way that since there are many 1911's produced/imitated by many different smiths that you really need to pay attention to what replacement barrel you buy and whether or not it's the right size for yours.

It's nice to have something to compare it to. Of course the 300 Whisper is going to be quieter than a non-supressed weapon but it's nice to have a baseline to reference. Wouldn't you rather have more info like this than none at all?

Yea, you are retarded... First off, the 300 whisper ammo is subsonic, on top of that it's designed to be suppressed. That's why it is quiet. If you put a suppressor on the 6.8 (which i own), it's still loud as hell because the round itself is supersonic.
