Hi,My dad, who sadly passed away at the end of last year, had this record in his collection of 45s from the late 50s/early 60s. It is agem of a song, beautifully sung by Helen shapiro, and on listenting to it now, it sounds just as good as it di when I first heard it.Thanks for posting this,Rob, Cornwall

When this song was on the top chart I was deeply inlove for the first time. It was when I was 13. Of course the chap didn't see me, as I was alitle mouse compaired to his age. He was 21...so handsome and lovable eyes he had!This song always reminds me of me and my 1st love. Amazing to hear it again :)

it was really something being in my twenties during this era ...watching live performances with marty wilde and billy fury at yarmouth ..village hall dances with pony tails girls....england still manufacturing cars and m/c's...nice

burnley-It's true that a lot of us music lovers here in the US have missed out on this wonderful singer. I actually found out about her through a bio of the Beatles that described the time they went on tour with her as the headliner, way back when. Even the Fab Four were amazed to have gotten on the same bill and adored her as well, feeling it was a true honor.But better let then never! Her voice is amazing.
