I wasn't having a go either :P, just pointing it out.I think everyone needs something to aspire too, otherwise you just become a robot working 9-5 for ever. In my opinion, hes not having ago at people aspiring for something, just the fact that TV try's (and in most cases succeeds) to change your dreams to some perfect, ad supported society approved dream.

Well, alright, he's just rich enough to still be seen as 'everyman' then lolMy comment wasn't having a go, I'm actually a big fan of his. He's very funny and very astute.

Might be wealthy, but hes not exactly a billionaire oil tycoon.... And he can still have a go at tv shows which show these rich fucking twats, and end up creating people like ceaser.

Charlie Brooker talking about aspirational TV? Thanks to his production company being bought by Endemol, journalism etc he has become incredibly wealthy...he doesn't really need to aspire to anything anymore

Balls to aspiration, it's a tossers mirage.

This seems to me a very philosophical topic, and it's damn depressing. Still, funny.
