Midway into it, they STILL didn't give it up -- the whole deadpan thing. I think they wanted to give Tim all the "trunk" he needed to get it done...one of the best of all time.

Yeah. Vaudeville doesn't really happen anymore, which is where Dick van Dyke and I think Carol Burnett started. And old-time radio got dropped at least two decades ago.
