Some people prefer his stand-up to his other things, others don't think it's as good. Personally it doesn't seem lazy to me, but maybe he's inconsistent. Anyway, I don't think the proportion of females-to-males who flock especially to see a male performer and/or 'just want to bone a celebrity' need be an indicator of talent, or Johnny Depp with all his devoted fangirls would be considered useless. Sexuality just widens and deepens someone's public appeal, it doesn't prove they aren't skilled.
