It was slow and purposeful because they are learning the steps. You don't just give a guy a rifle and bullets and let him loose in something like that where accidents can kill. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" as our SF instructors used to say. Ie. speed comes second, tenique comes first.

Looks like a buncha tough guys with a keyboard... When we ran this, (former 505th Airborne) we had some dudes come from down the street (green-hat land) to teach us the different methods they employed. Then our commanders would go over the Army TM methods and we'd run it over and over and over again being picked apart by officers, NCOs, and SF cadre... Good training though. And yes, we cleared a shit ton of buildings in Iraq- entire towns. SF are the only ones... whatever.

lol the funny thing is to be a ranger you must go through airborne/air assualt.... if the airborne was so bad they wouldnt make you go through the school just to try out for ranger.... and not everyone makes it. more then half drop out lol
