Nobody looks as good as him even in this condition, he should of won. He was the only one with true mass and proportion and cut powerfully out of God's mold.imo, Sergio will always be 8 time Mr. Olympia instead of 3, and even more if he had completed every time.

The real contest in 1984 was between Sergio, Bill Grant and Tony Pearson for worst calves. On that I believe it was close, but Sergio should have been first.

Ricky Wayne who gave Oliva the moniker "The Myth" one year earlier called Larry Scott "The 8th Wonder of the World" and said that no one would match Scott for decades to come. In all fairness to Oliva he was in his 40's here and way past his peak which is probably why DeMelia arranged for Oliva to pose first. Oliva didn't even belong in the top 12 in this competition. Too smooth and no calves. Horrible posing.
