A number of catches would be good to dictate what this totally solid means.I've practiced 5 balls for about 6 months before I could say it was solid. But my average runs were still around 70 catches. I could get a couple hundred catches on occasions but the typical run was around 70.Now if you mean getting an average run of 300 catches or something, I would agree with the 1 year statement. But for my level of solid which took me 6 months. I would say you could do it in a couple of months.

I must have a different idea of what 'totally solid' means. I first learned 5balls more than 1 year ago, and I can do several somewhat difficult 5ball tricks/patterns consistently, but I still do not feel that my 5ball cascade is totally solid... but yeah, it really depends on how you practice.

1 year to run it totally solid? im afraid i have to disagree steve, freddy sheed got 5 balls down on 1 month. I dont say you have to practice as-much as he did, but it would definintely not take 1 year to get it solid, ofcause, really depends on the amount of practice youre doing. But still, saying 1 year. Is really dis-courageing stuff to hear.

I don't remember exactly how long it took me to learn 5balls. I think it took at least a month to be able to comfortably get past 10 catches. Just keep practicing, it takes at least a few months to have a fairly solid 5ball pattern. And I don't have a facebook, sorry

123kurtis321: learn more 3-ball patterns, learn how to juggle 4 balls very well, learn some nice 4-ball patterns and tricks, and then you might be ready for the 5-ball cascade. you can learn it, but it wont be too easy, the 5-ball cascade is an advanced pattern.

Hi Steve, yeah me again! The crap one! lolHope you're juggling well?, JOI, when you started, how long did it take you roughly until you could get about 6-12 throws or so in the 5-ball juggling?I've been 5-ball flashing and doing the exercises for the past 3-4 weeks now. Admitedly, the 5-ball flash is getting easier, not to mention getting pissed off with it! I work on it about 30-45 mins a day!If you have a facebook, that'll be brill!
