there all still alive and helped to rebuild there respective guardian.blaster became twincast, and soundwave became soundblaster.

You can see three of Soundwave's cassettes (Razorbeak, Ratbat, and Buzzsaw) carrying away his parts after the battle, so they survived at least. I don't think we see Rumble, Frenzy, Slugfest, or Overkill after this episode, so either they died here or the writers just forgot to include them in any future eps.Two of Blaster's cassettes are standing around his body (Steeljaw and Ramhorn) so they're good, but I have no clue if we see the other two robot ones again.

So what happens to the remaining cassettes when Blaster dies? Do they reach in and take them like a mother having a c-section? And I guess that all of Soundwave's cassettes died when he blew up.

Wow you mean galvatron/Megatron actually cared about someone other than himself, and i teared when Blaster died
