The late, great, underground guitar hero Ted Greene performing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as well as a nice short arrangement of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". This is an excerpt from a 2003 seminar focusing on Christmas music hosted by California Vintage Guitar. Enjoy!P.S. I have a copy of the sheet music Ted's arrangement of "Hark!..." played here. If you're interested, feel free to send me a PM.*Well so many people have asked for the sheet music I might as well post it here and save you all the trouble of PMing me. Here's Ted's original manuscript:- http://www.websitetoolbox.com/... here is a slightly cleaned up version:- http://www.websitetoolbox.com/...

I think you have to listen to Ted's work to understand the genius. To say he is a sound technician is like saying that Einstein is just another physicist. One you listen in depth to his understanding of harmony and phrasing you will fully appreciate him. too bad he has passed and can't give use the emjoyment of hearing more. Take care Ted . . .

lexovirus wrote; "He's more to sound engineering than guitar playing." What does that even mean? Well, at least you got the "Beautiful song" part right.

Beautiful song! From what I can tell, he's more to sound engineering than guitar playing.

Ted Played his way and was like no one else . Ted was such a master he was never showing off he truly played what he heard in his head and was a real humble guy.I love how he can just change the key at the drop of a hat.
